I'm sorry to say that you're stuck with just me this week for Goulet Q&A. The message was sent loud and clear that you love having Rachel with me in the video, but she just couldn't work it out in her schedule to be here with me this morning. This week's theme is an Open Forum, and I always enjoy the variety of questions I receive. I ended up getting so many, I could only answer about half of what I received. But I'll be saving the rest. Enjoy!

Quiver is a company that makes some pretty unique leather pen holders that attach to your A5-size hard cover journals like the Rhodia Webnotebook and Moleskine. In this video I show the single and double holders, as well as the adapters that fit with them.

Brian and Rachel shot a comprehensive segment for Goulet Q&A Episode 36 showing the full lineup of Platinum pens offered at GouletPens.com. It came together so well, they wanted to break it into its own video for better reference. Enjoy!

It's Episode 36 of Goulet Q&A today, and I have a very special guest joining me. My lovely wife, Rachel! I know it's always a special treat when she's able to join me in some videos, so it was great that she was able to wiggle some room in her busy schedule to join me in showcasing Platinum pens and ink. Platinum as a brand is somewhat underrepresented, so we're really excited to be able to shine a little light on this really interesting line of products.

The Lamy CP1 is a thin, light pen that doesn't get as much fanfare as I feel that it probably should based on the number of people I know that love using this pen. Here's a quick look at this skinny little thing.

This handsome little beauty is a pocket pen that doesn't sacrifice comfort for size. Typically when I see pocket pens it's a sure bet that it's going to mean something cheap and flimsy, but this pen is legit for around $150. Here's a glance at this under-represented pen.
This week I'm taking all kinds of questions from you, including topics like shading on different color paper, expanding Goulet nibs, wet inks, Faber Castell and the Pilot Metropolitan with Noodler's inks.

The Sheaffer 300 is a big, heavy pen with a classic and professional look. Whip out this pen in a meeting and you'll catch some wandering eyes looking over trying to see what you have in your hand. It's not flashy, but everyone will know you care about what you're using. Here's a quick look to show you what the 300 is all about.

I have a lot of great tips and tricks already in my video archive, mainly because I know that learning the little insider tricks are part of what make the fountain pen hobby so much more gratifying. Here are some questions I got about tips and tricks I haven't yet covered.

The Sheaffer Sagaris is a straight-laced professional-looking pen. Nothing too radical going on here, just a solid mid-size, mid-price pen with a surprisingly smooth-writing nib.
